Robin Place Fabrics is located in beautiful Soldotna, Alaska, home to some of the world’s best fishing and quilting. We are proud to be the home store for Mount Redoubt Designs. Designer Letitia Hutchings lives nearby and frequents our shop to give us sneak peeks at her newest ideas. We are delighted to carry all her books and patterns plus we have kits available for most of her designs. You will also find patterns by local designers in our on-line store. These have been tested and loved by many of our Kenai Peninsula customers. We are a full service quilt store with everything for your quilting needs.
“Quilting on the Kenai” is the name of our annual quilt and fashion show. We are looking forward to our 13th annual gala on June 26, 27, & 28 in 2008. See our Special Events page for more details. In 2007 we hosted over 120 wonderful quilts, 100 artistic wearables, and dolls. Our guest teacher will be Betty Cotton, teaching her Cotton Theory Workshops.
